Storybook Walk Books, Frames, and Additional Products
The Storybook Company LLC offers various books, literacy materials, and outdoor installation products, including commercial frame assemblies, DIY Storybook Walk® Editions, Ready-to-Use Laminated Editions, and stories printed on Coroplast signs. By purchasing or using our products, you agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. In addition, when using particular products, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such items. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not purchase or use Storybook Walk products.
1. Availability & Bulk Orders
We cannot guarantee continuous product availability as it depends on seasonal demand. However, we do our absolute best to restock books and materials as quickly as possible. If you need to place a bulk order or request formal grant estimates, please contact us directly.
2. Hardware Manufacturing & Third-Party Components
Physical display frames, mounting posts, and backer panels ("Hardware Components") are custom manufactured through specialized third-party manufacturing partners. The Storybook Company acts as the primary distributor, designer, and licensed content provider. Any hardware warranties extended by the underlying component manufacturers are passed through directly to the Buyer to the extent permitted by law. The Storybook Company makes no independent physical warranties, express or implied, regarding physical Hardware Components beyond those extended by our manufacturing partners.
3. Installation & Site Safety Disclaimer
The Storybook Company does not perform physical site installations. Proper ground anchoring, post setting, wall/fence mounting, site hazard assessments, and compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, or municipal safety requirements are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. The Storybook Company and its manufacturing partners disclaim all liability for personal injury, property damage, vandalism, or structural failure resulting from improper installation, unauthorized site placement, or misuse of physical hardware.
4. Order Processing, Pre-Orders & Shipping
Standard Editions: We ship standard Storybook Walk® story sets via USPS or UPS. Normal production and shipping time for standard story sets is 7–10 business days once an order has been processed.
Institutional Hardware Packages: Custom frame assemblies, mounting posts, and backer panels are manufactured to order. The estimated fulfillment window for hardware packages is 60 days (approximately 6–8 weeks) following Purchase Order (PO) approval, artwork verification, and manufacturing sign-off. This timeline accounts for custom frame fabrication, laser-etching, proofing, and freight delivery. Shipping windows are estimates and subject to production schedules and freight carrier availability. If unexpected manufacturing delays occur beyond reasonable windows, The Storybook Company reserves the right to update delivery schedules or issue full refunds without further liability.
Shipping Damage: All shipments are inspected prior to dispatch. If your product arrives broken, torn, or defective due to shipping damage, please notify us immediately so we can assist with carrier claims and replacements.
5. Refunds & Defective Goods
Because our stories and custom hardware packages go straight into production, all sales are final, and we cannot guarantee order cancellations once an order is placed. We do not accept returns.
However, if your product is defective, please let us know immediately! We work hard to check for any mistakes made during printing and assembly, but errors can occasionally happen. Before writing a bad review, please give us the chance to make things right. If your product is defective, send us an email at Kelley@storybookwalk.com with a photo of the defect. If the defect is a result of our production process, we will issue a replacement or refund within 14 days.
6. Payment & Institutional Purchase Orders
Payments can be made securely via credit card, PayPal, or Stripe through the checkout service on StorybookWalk.com. For institutional buyers, school districts, public libraries, and municipal park departments using our Estimate Request Form, we accept official Purchase Orders (POs) and payments made via check. All pricing reflects standard public institution tax-exempt status unless otherwise noted; valid tax exemption certificates must be provided upon PO submission where applicable.
7. Purpose
The purpose of Storybook Walk® books and products is to promote literacy, encourage children and families to be active outdoors, and add an extra layer of joy to reading.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy and will never share or sell your personal information to outside parties.
9. Trademark and Intellectual Property
We love seeing communities come together to promote literacy and outdoor activity! Because Storybook Walk® is our officially registered trademark, we have a few simple guidelines to help you use our name correctly and legally for your local events:
Approved Use: If you have purchased official Storybook Walk® Editions or hardware packages directly from us, you are fully encouraged to name your installation or event a "Storybook Walk®"! We ask that you include the ® symbol in primary titles and include the following acknowledgment on promotional materials or trail signage:
"Storybook Walk® is a registered trademark of The Storybook Company LLC and is used with permission."
Not Approved Use: We highly encourage libraries and communities to build outdoor reading trails. However, to protect our brand, the term Storybook Walk® cannot be used for events featuring homemade or unauthorized story panels (e.g., dismantling and laminating a standard retail book yourself). The trademarked name is reserved exclusively for trails featuring official materials purchased directly from our shop. DIY displays must use generic terms (e.g., "Story Trail" or "Reading Walk").
10. Termination & Limitation of Liability
StorybookWalk.com reserves the right to terminate purchase agreements or service access at any time for any breach of these terms. The maximum extent of financial liability of The Storybook Company LLC to any buyer shall be strictly limited to the refund of the purchase price paid for the specific order.
11. Changes to Terms of Service
StorybookWalk.com reserves the right to update or change these conditions from time to time. Any changes to the Terms of Service will be posted directly to this page on the website.
