For too long reading has been something that was only possible if you opened up a book. We think that there are many ways to read and we are on a mission to find out how many creative ways we can find to make reading fun.

CEO and Founder
Kelley Donner
Kelley Donner is an author, illustrator, and educator whose passion for literacy and outdoor learning led her to create StorybookWalk.com—a resource dedicated to helping libraries, schools, and communities bring stories to life through interactive Storywalk exhibits. As both a creator and advocate for children’s literacy, Kelley collaborates with authors to adapt their books into Ready-to-Use Laminated Editions designed specifically for Storywalks. Her mission is to combine storytelling with movement, making reading more accessible, interactive, and fun for children everywhere. Originally from Kansas, Kelley is a best-selling author and holds a Master’s in Illustration and Book Design from the Cambridge School of Art.

Founder
Mark Janzen
Mark Janzen is a Wichita-based technology leader and inventor whose career began in computing at a young age. A former senior engineering executive at Avalara, he went on to found and lead Applianz Technologies, the creators of the “AppEasy” cloud-in-a-box. He has since served as CTO for Abi Inc., co-founded Planetary Talent, and invested in local startups as a Venture Partner with Kubera Venture Capital. A dedicated mentor in the Wichita tech community, Mark also contributes as board president for the Tallgrass Film Festival and holds numerous patents in cloud, privacy, and resource-optimization technologies.
Kelley Donner and her brother Mark Janzen founded The Storybook Company in May of 2024.
